It was another incredible May Fire! tournament.
For the third year in a row the tourney – which is the best doubles and quads tournament you’ll find in the Midwest – brought dozens of teams and as many spectators to Volleyball Beach. And once again nothing about the tournament failed to impress.
Freddy and I Continue reading May Fire! Recap
The only doubles tournament out at Volleyball Beach is up this weekend – May Fire!
The last couple of years Continue reading It’s Almost Here
The title of the post is one of my favorite lines from a good TV show that was cancelled too soon – The Unit. I just finished watching the fourth and final season of it this week and one of the last few episodes has that line in it at a pivotal moment.

On Tuesday I got my latest training tool for my quest to hit a 24-minute 5k: my Garmin Forerunner 15. Because UPS decided to drop it off late in the evening (after volleyball) I didn’t get a chance to break it out on a run until today.
After one run Continue reading 9:36 Mile
