The Chive did a review of 2012 and presented the top fifteen things we won’t miss about 2012. You can find that post here (don’t worry – it’s safe for work).
How in the world Gangnam Style ended up #1 on the list I don’t know – especially when you look at all the ones that were below it (like, say, #15 or #4). Don’t get me wrong – it’s gotten it’s share of airtime (and then some), but heaven’s to Betsy – look at the rest of that list and tell me it’s the worst thing about 2012. I remember the first time I heard it – I’m sitting in a room in Monroe (corporate headquarters) with peers of mine and one of them decides to play it and do some of the dance. Our boss walks in, takes one look at it, says “yup, that’s my team”, turns around and walks out.
All that being said, though, if you’re not a fan of the Chive after this you need to see a psychiatrist. I’ve written time and time again about how awesome the Chive is and why I think it’s safe for work, and this is no exception. There’s always something funny to look at, and you can’t beat a good dose of Motivational Monday posters when you’re starting the workweek. And yes – they have cats.
But back to the subject at hand: what would YOUR top fifteen things you won’t miss about 2012 include?
