190 Pounds, Day Fifty-Eight

#FAIL. #FAIL. #FAIL. There is no other word that adequately describes my performance this last week.  Don’t get me wrong – I knew Thursday was going to be a trainwreck (Thanksgiving).  But beyond that I couldn’t keep carbs out of my mouth.  Cookies, ice cream, sweet tea, Coke, bread, fries – all of it.  In amounts I had no business eating normally much less on a diet. We’re getting close to the one-month mark.  Thirty-five days to go to drop nine pounds.  Five weeks left, two pounds per week.  I can do this. This weekend I cheated a little on Friday night (some nachos and Pepsi) and Sunday (some sweet tea), but aside from that I was good. (goal: 190; current: 200 (-9); days left: 35)

Unfortunately I was out of town until late Sunday so I didn’t put it up here. And, equally as unfortunately I completely fell outside of my diet.  Friday, Saturday and Sunday I was pretty much a complete pig.  Saturday was OK – that’s my “normal” day.  But Friday night deep dish Chicago pizza…bad.  And Sunday Wendy’s and handfuls of candy…bad.
